Fireside Chats is a series of informal yet structured conversations between a guest and a moderator, organised by the Office of Inclusive Learning Support. The series features speakers from various walks of life, offering informative and engaging perspectives. Set in a more casual format, the conversations aim to foster open, transparent discussions for the audience to enjoy.
ABOUT DR RANJINI KRISHNAN
Dr Ranjini Krishnan is a researcher and writer. She is the founder of Sradha Culture Lab, a knowledge initiative that works on questions around gender culture and psychology. She publishes fiction in Malayalam. She has received the Best Screenplay Award at New York Indian Film Festival for the Malayalam feature film Kanyaka Talkies (2013) and was also the researcher and co-writer of National Award-winning Documentary A Pestering Journey (2011). She is the recipient of Arts Practice Grant from India Foundation for the Arts for an experimental video generated from her doctoral work - Daughters of Scheherazade (2020). Ranjini Krishnan is a visiting faculty at Krea Psychology.
